We Are Seeking: Core DevOps Engineer
This role focuses on building and supporting the platforms, tooling, and infrastructure that enable developers, traders, and technology teams to operate efficiently at scale.
You will work across cloud and on-premises environments, helping to improve developer productivity, platform reliability, automation, and operational excellence.
Previous experience within buy-side firms, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or other performance-sensitive environments is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement platform tooling and infrastructure to improve reliability and developer productivityBuild, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processesManage environment deployments, upgrades, and migrationsPartner with engineering teams to ensure systems perform reliably in productionBuild tools, APIs, and automation to reduce operational overheadImprove monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational readinessDevelop and maintain integrations with internal platforms and services
Requirements
Experience operating infrastructure across hybrid environments (AWS and on-premises)Strong experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS)Good understanding of AWS services, including:EC2VPC networkingLoad balancingStrong Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar)Good scripting skills across Linux & Windows environmentsStrong Python experienceGood understanding of Git and software development workflowsExperience working within mature CI/CD environmentsStrong problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation
