eCommerce Delivery Manager Melbourne | Permanent An exciting opportunity has become available for an eCommerce Delivery Manager to join one of Australia’s most established and digitally mature retail groups. Supporting a portfolio of well-known consumer brands, you will coordinate the ongoing delivery and optimisation of multiple eCommerce websites. This is a fast-moving, stakeholder-focused role suited to someone who understands the retail eCommerce environment and enjoys taking business requirements through to successful delivery. The Role Working across eCommerce, technology and external development partners, you will manage a varied pipeline of website enhancements, production releases and BAU initiatives. You will take ownership of requests from initial scoping through to development, testing, deployment and post-release support. You will also help balance competing priorities, communicate realistic delivery timeframes and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process. The environment is supportive and collaborative, but you will need the confidence to independently investigate problems, determine the best path forward and see work through to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage the ongoing delivery and optimisation of multiple eCommerce websitesCoordinate website enhancements, BAU releases, integrations and production fixesGather business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable development briefsManage delivery from scoping and estimation through to UAT, deployment and post-release supportMaintain and prioritise backlogs across several brands and stakeholder groupsSet realistic expectations around scope, timelines, risks and competing prioritiesWork closely with eCommerce managers, business analysts, technology teams and external development partnersCoordinate investigations and resolution of production issuesSupport promotional activity, product updates, pricing changes and other retail trading requirementsMonitor delivery progress, identify blockers and communicate updates proactivelyContribute to improvements across delivery processes and the broader software development lifecycleEnsure work is completed within agreed timelines and development budgets About You You are a calm, personable and highly dependable delivery professional who builds trust quickly. You know how to push work forward when required, while maintaining strong relationships and adapting your approach to different stakeholders. You will ideally bring: Experience in eCommerce, digital delivery, website production or digital project managementExperience working within a retail business, digitally mature consumer brand or eCommerce agencyExposure to an established eCommerce platform or CMS, such as Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Magento, SAP Commerce or a comparable platformAn understanding of retail eCommerce concepts, including products, categories, pricing, promotions, sale periods and shipping rulesExperience coordinating developers, agencies and business stakeholdersFamiliarity with requirements gathering, backlog management, UAT and website deploymentsStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsExcellent organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilitiesThe confidence to take ownership of an issue and independently drive it through to resolutionA reliable approach, with the ability to follow through without requiring close supervisionDeep technical expertise is not required. What matters most is your understanding of digital commerce, ability to solve problems and confidence managing delivery across multiple stakeholders.
