These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more. Our engineering team is at the heart of building and scaling the platforms and APIs that power our global B2B ecosystem. We are passionate about delivering robust, scalable software solutions that enable our partners to create exceptional travel experiences for their customers. In This Role, You Will Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services and APIs that support Expedia Group's B2B partner ecosystemCollaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoringWrite clean, well-tested, and well-documented code, contributing to a culture of engineering excellenceParticipate in on-call (Tier 1) rotation, responding to incidents, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing long-term fixesContribute to technical design discussions and code reviews, helping to raise the quality bar across the teamWork within an agile team environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous delivery practicesSupport the adoption of best practices around security, reliability, and observability across the systems you own Experience And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience3+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency in Java (or JVM languages) and solid understanding of the JVM ecosystemExperience designing and building RESTful APIs and distributed, microservices-based systemsHands-on experience with both relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesExperience participating in on-call rotations and incident response in a production environmentProficient communication skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously Accommodation requests Expedia Group is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience.
