Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices supporting the Personal Loans platform.Build and enhance event-driven, distributed application components, including Kafka-based integrations where applicable.Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, QA, and delivery teams to clarify requirements and deliver business outcomes.Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best-practice improvements.Support CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, environment configuration, and operational excellence activities.Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting REST APIs for enterprise-scale platforms.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native backend development.Experience building event-driven systems and distributed applications using Kafka.Solid understanding of software design patterns, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD practices, and secure coding principles.Experience working on complex, enterprise-scale platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Familiarity with Git or equivalent version control systems, API testing tools, and configuration formats such as JSON, YAML, or XML.Preferred Experience
