We're looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join an international Cloud & Telecom product project! If you're passionate about building scalable backend systems, modern cloud architectures and solving complex engineering challenges, this could be the opportunity you're looking for. You'll join a highly technical engineering team working on cloud-native platforms used by millions of users across Europe, where you'll help design, build and evolve distributed systems using modern .NET technologies and engineering best practices. Fluent English Porto Area (Hybrid – 2 days/week) International Project | Cloud-Native Platforms | Agile Engineering Teams What you'll do Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using modern .NET technologies Build and evolve distributed microservices and RESTful APIsWork with cloud-native architectures running on AzureCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and other Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , code reviews and engineering best practicesParticipate in technical discussions, architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to building resilient, high-availability systems. Help deliver reliable software powering products used by millions of users across Europe. What we're looking for 7+ years of experience developing software with C# and .NETStrong hands-on experience building Microservices and REST APIsExperience working with Azure and cloud-native applicationsExperience with Docker and containerised applicationsGood understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices. Experience working with SQL databasesStrong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software architecture. Experience working in Agile software development environments. Strong ownership , autonomy and problem-solving skills. Ability to discuss technical trade-offs , challenge decisions constructively and contribute to architectural discussionsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with highly technical teams. Continuous improvement mindset. Experience with Kubernetes is highly valued. Experience working in Telecom or Communications environments is a plus. Interest in AI-assisted engineering practices and tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar.
