Eidel has a growing portfolio of projects and is looking for a .NET developer to join our team and support our continued growth. About The Role As a .NET developer at Eidel, you will be responsible for .NET development within a variety of projects, usually product oriented. You will work closely with the system engineers and embedded software developers to build applications which interfaces hardware units and the users in the best possible way. You will follow the lifecycle of a product from molding the idea, developing the code, and maintaining the software. We are a small team of .NET-developers at Eidel and your impact on the software design will be significant. Desired Background A minimum of 5 years’ experience in software developmentBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related fieldExperience with software and system architecture designExperience with Component based architecture, SOLID, REST APIs and Micro ServicesExperience with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including issue tracking, version control, code reviews, automated builds, and CI/CDKnowledge of secure software development principleExperience writing clear and well-structured technical documentation, including architecture descriptions and API documentationAbility to design and develop intuitive, user-friendly, and maintainable software solutionsLow-level network development experience is a plus Experience In Some Of The Following Technologies .NETC#WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, and WinFormsClient/Service applications using WEB API and message queuingIntegration patterns and distributed systemsMessage brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ or similar)Relational databases like SQLServer or PostgreSQL. NoSQL and document databasesTest driven development (TDD)Docker and KubernetesLinux (e.g. RedHat)Knowledge of the communication standards such as Ethernet, USB and UART Personal Qualities We Look For Structured and detail-orientedAnalytical mindset with the ability to understand issues from multiple perspectivesStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approachComfortable supporting and guiding colleaguesClear communicator who can challenge when neededPatient and persistent when solving complex problemsA keen eye for clean code, maintainable solutions, and modern architectureInterest in Space, Defence, Security or Data Acquisition is a plus.
