Full-time Berlin, Germany OVERALL FUNCTION: Being part of our Software Department, this role is vital for delivering high-quality software that powers shows such as Ed Sheeran, Metallica, and Cirque du Soleil, festivals like Roskilde and Montreux Jazz Festival, providing a smooth and reliable user experience to our customers at all stages from planning to execution. As a Software Engineer at Meyer Sound, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art solutions for show control systems on which hundreds of sound engineers worldwide depend for their daily job. Your work will help existing users maintain trust in our products, as well as attract new ones with their reliability. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Writing clean, maintainable, and future-proof code, with unit tests Collaborating with external developers and our internal SQA team Conducting code reviews Participating in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and Retrospective) Working together with other colleagues on software architecture REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of modern C++ experience Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript Experience developing network, multithreaded, and cross-platform standalone applications Understanding of Git and setting up CI/CD pipelines Previous work with JUCE and/or Qt framework is preferred Preferably some experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React WHAT WE OFFER: Modern office in the heart of Berlin (WeWork at Potsdamer Platz) Remote work option Flexible working hours
