As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to build, automate, manage, and secure cloud environments that help development teams deliver modern web applications quickly and reliably. We need you to help us strengthen DevOps capabilities supporting our web application teams and solve some of our clients’ toughest technical challenges. As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your technical skills to drive mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll work alongside software engineers developing applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, and Python, while helping design and improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, networking, and deployment processes that support those applications. You’ll work with technologies such as GitHub and GitHub Actions to automate builds, testing, and deployments across environments. You’ll support containerized Linux workloads using Docker and Azure Container Registry, and help deploy applications using Azure services such as Azure Container Apps, Azure Web Apps, and Azure Functions. Using your DevOps and Azure knowledge, you’ll help improve application reliability, deployment consistency, security, and developer experience. You’ll also support cloud architectures that use secure networking patterns, including Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), private endpoints, and private connectivity between application services and supporting resources. You’ll collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and other engineers to identify opportunities for automation, troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, and establish repeatable patterns that make it easier for application teams to build and operate secure cloud-native solutions. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
