Senior Clojure Developer – Public Sector Solutions Are you an experienced Clojure developer who thrives in complex, high-impact environments? At Twoday, we are looking for a senior developer to join a project within the public sector, where you will contribute to building and maintaining critical digital solutions used by thousands of citizens. About The Role You will become part of a highly skilled development team working onsite in Copenhagen on business-critical systems with high demands for stability, security, and long-term maintainability. The role involves both developing new functionality and improving existing solutions, often in collaboration with architects, domain experts, and other developers. You will work in an environment where quality, documentation, and structured development are essential. Your Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using ClojureContribute to system architecture and technical decisionsBuild and maintain robust, scalable backend servicesWork with APIs and integrations across complex system landscapesEnsure high code quality, testability, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup We expect that you Have several years of experience working with Clojure (senior level)Have a strong background in backend development and functional programmingAre comfortable working with complex, distributed systemsHave experience with APIs, integrations, and data-heavy solutionsUnderstand the importance of documentation, testing, and stable operationsThrive in agile development environmentsFluent Danish is required It is an advantage if you have experience working in regulated environments or with public sector solutions.
