Job Description The Senior Platform Engineer designs, builds and operates Cuscal’s internal engineering platforms, providing secure, scalable and self-service delivery capabilities that reduce cognitive load for product squads and streamline the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on internal developer platforms, CI/CD enablement, GitHub administration, Terraform automation, observability uplift and platform onboarding automation. Design, operate and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Terraform CloudEmbed CI/CD best practice for build, test, deployment, release management and environment promotionBuild and maintain reusable infrastructure automation patterns using Terraform and approved platform modulesCollaborate with Cloud Platform teams on cloud standards, shared services, guardrails and operational readiness requirementsBuild observability capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry Qualifications What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you’ll have: Background in platform engineering, internal developer platforms or engineering enablement product delivery. Strong capability in CI/CD pipeline architecture, governance and continuous delivery practicesExtensive GitHub administration experience, including policies, runners, workflow security, repository governance and access controlsProficiency in Terraform modules, Infrastructure as Code automation, GitOps patterns and environment orchestrationKnowledge of observability tooling including Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch and OpenTelemetryStrong troubleshooting skills across pipelines, infrastructure, platform integrations and operational incidents Additional Information Why Cuscal?
