Project Engineer (Albury - Wodonga) The Riverina Redevelopment Join Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of exisiting infrustructure facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including; Albury Wodonga Military Area (AWMA)RAAF Base Wagga (RBW)Blamey Barracks Kapooka (BBK) ­­­­The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including: Construction of new messing and living in accommodationConstruction of new training and mess facilitiesRefurbishment and upgrading of existing buildingsRemedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services For further information please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture website - https://rrjv.com.au/ Your Opportunity Reporting to the Project Manager, you will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of site works. Responsibilities may include monitoring progress against program, resolving engineering and technical challenges, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting cost, quality and schedule outcomes. You will also play an important role in promoting and upholding a strong Zero Harm safety culture. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and methodologiesPlan and coordinate daily works with supervisors and Subcontractors to achieve agreed outcomesEnsure project delivery is compliant with project standards, quality requirements and technical specificationsMonitor and manage allocated work packages, including resources, cost and productivityMaintain accurate records, documentation and reportingSupport cost management and contribute to achieving project targets About You A tertiary qualification in EngineeringWith at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experienceStrong background with building, residential, commercial, hospital, living-in accommodations, student accommodation, educational buildings, etc.Preferably someone who has experience with Project delivery, fitouts, facades, piling, precast, roofing and commissioningHigh‑quality written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrates strong leadership qualities with the capability to effectively manage, mentor, and guide a team of engineers.Skilled in delegating tasks, setting clear expectations, and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance.
