Job Description Join Heirloom Fair Legal as the second engineer to build and scale a core loan portfolio management platform from the ground up. You will work across the full stack using Python and Next.js, automating complex operational workflows and data validation processes to support the firm’s rapid growth toward a £250m annual funding target. What You Will Do Develop and maintain the firm’s internal loan portfolio management platform using Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.Automate manual operational processes, including high-volume data validation and portfolio quality checks, to improve underwriting efficiency.Design and implement new features for forecasting, reporting, and operational workflows while leading the redesign of key user interfaces. The ideal candidate Strong professional experience in Python development, preferably with FastAPI, and front-end proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, version control, and integrating robust CI/CD pipelines.A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, London-based office environment.
