Senior Software Engineer

We're recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for our client based in Central Gothenburg. The Position You'll be working with a fast growing AI start-up building the data foundation for global supply chains. They already power thousands of organisations across the UK and Europe, including some of the world's larges brands. This is a senior engineering role where you'll be part of a small, tight knit team, owning core infrastructure, the distributed platform, and API products at the heart of the system. What you'll do Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems in productionOwn architectural decisions across the core stack - coding, standards, and technical directionBuild and maintain backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, security and scalabilityWork closely with product and engineering to define, design and deliver new featuresImplement observability and monitoring across products and integrationsWrite clean, maintainable code and raise the engineering bar as the team grows Requirements 6+ years of production experience owning, building and delivering large distributed systems at scale.Strong programming experience in GolangWorking experience with GCP or AWS.Proficiency with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and analytical databasesDeep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processingActive practitioner of AI-assisted development toolsFluent English speaker and based in/around Gothenburg.
