Ant International is a leading global digital payment and financial technology provider, enabling trusted cross-border commerce and financial connectivity. The Chief System Assurance Officer (CSAO) organization is responsible for establishing a Global Sovereign System Assurance Framework, ensuring that Ant International’s cross-border payment systems are intrinsically Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable. The Senior System Assurance Expert – Sovereign Cloud & Infrastructure will lead to design, develop, and operate AI agents that continuously build, monitor, optimize, and assure Ant International's sovereign cloud and infrastructure platforms. The role is responsible for leveraging AI agents to automate cloud architecture governance, infrastructure resilience, security enforcement, sovereign architecture validation, and large-scale operational assurance, ensuring that global payment infrastructure remains Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable (VCVAS). Key Responsibilities ● Design and develop AI agents that automate sovereign cloud governance and infrastructure assurance. ● Build AI-native capabilities for continuous infrastructure monitoring, anomaly detection, resilience validation, and automated remediation. ● Develop AI agents that continuously evaluate cloud architectures against sovereign design principles and regulatory requirements. ● Build AI-driven infrastructure compliance and Security-by-Design validation capabilities. ● Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Security Engineering, SRE, Architecture, and CSAO teams to integrate AI assurance into infrastructure operations. ● Generate continuous evidence for cloud resilience, security posture, operational readiness, and regulatory assurance. ● Contribute to the AI-native System Assurance Platform (Solix) and the evolution of Iceberg into an intelligent assurance operating model. Key Deliverables Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate should help deliver AI agents capable of: ● Continuously validating sovereign cloud architecture across multiple regions. ● Monitoring infrastructure resilience, availability, and operational health in real time. ● Automatically detecting and remediating infrastructure security and compliance issues. ● Generating regulator-ready evidence for cloud governance and operational resilience. ● Improving cloud scalability and performance through AI-driven optimization. ● Supporting the CSAO vision of Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable infrastructure. Required Qualifications & Experience 1. AI Agent Engineering for Sovereign Cloud Architecture ● Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or autonomous workflows for cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations. ● Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK, or equivalent. ● Understanding of multi-agent orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MCP, and workflow automation. ● Experience designing AI-driven cloud management solutions. 2. AI-Driven Sovereign Cloud Resilience & Reliability ● Design AI agents that continuously monitor and improve: ● Service availability ● Infrastructure health ● RTO/RPO compliance ● Disaster Recovery readiness ● Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) metrics ● Experience with observability platforms, incident automation, and cloud operations. 3. AI-Powered Secure-by-Design Infrastructure ● Build AI agents that continuously validate: ● Infrastructure security baselines ● Identity and access controls ● Network segmentation ● Configuration compliance ● Infrastructure-as-Code security ● Experience with cloud security automation and policy-as-code is highly desirable. 4. AI-Driven Sovereign Architecture Validation ● Build AI agents that continuously verify sovereign architecture principles, including: ● Regional isolation ● Cross-border control enforcement ● Data residency compliance ● Sovereign cloud policy validation ● Experience with multi-cloud and multi-region architecture is preferred. 5. AI-Based Scalability & Performance Assurance ● Design AI agents that continuously monitor and optimize: ● Infrastructure scalability ● Capacity planning ● Performance bottlenecks ● Resource utilization ● High-volume transaction processing ● Experience supporting financial-grade or mission-critical distributed systems. Preferred Qualifications ● BS/MS in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, AI, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related disciplines. ● 5–10 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, AI engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure automation. ● Hands-on experience with: ● Kubernetes ● Terraform ● Python or Go ● AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud ● Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ● CI/CD automation ● Observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.) ● Experience with Zero Trust, Secure-by-Design, Sovereign Cloud, and financial-grade cloud infrastructure. ● Experience building AI-driven operational automation is highly desirable.
