Role Overview: Senior WordPress Developer We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to build, customize, and maintain secure, high-performing websites. The role focuses on WordPress development, GoHighLevel integrations, custom themes/plugins, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and delivering reliable technical solutions while collaborating with clients and teams. Responsibilities Build and maintain responsive, secure, and high-performing WordPress websitesDevelop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and page-builder componentsIntegrate WordPress websites with GoHighLevel, APIs, forms, CRM workflows, and third-party servicesTroubleshoot website, hosting, plugin, and integration issuesImprove website speed, SEO readiness, accessibility, and mobile responsivenessPerform updates, backups, migrations, testing, and ongoing maintenanceTranslate business and design requirements into reliable technical solutionsCommunicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to clients and team membersReview code and help establish development standards and best practices Requirements At least 5 years of professional experience with WordPress developmentStrong hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL)Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and WordPress architectureExperience with custom themes, plugins, APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrationsFamiliarity with popular WordPress builders and tools, such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar platformsStrong understanding of website performance, security, responsive design, and technical SEOExcellent written and spoken EnglishAbility to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time hoursStrong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skillsReliable computer and high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications Experience with hosting platforms, DNS, SSL, CDN, and website migrationsFamiliarity with Git and modern development workflowsExperience creating GHL funnels, forms, calendars, automations, and CRM integrationsExperience working hybrid with U.S.-based clients or teams Benefits At MySigrid, we invest in the people who power our growth.
