Java Developer (f/m/x)

Sii Sweden is looking for Java Developers to join us on exciting projects with customers across industries, especially within finance, banking, insurance, and other business-critical environments. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions and modern applications based on Java and Spring Boot. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to build reliable, secure, and high-quality software. We are especially interested in candidates with previous experience from the finance industry or other regulated environments, where stability, security, and quality are key. Your tasks Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring BootBuild and integrate REST APIs and microservices in modern system landscapesWork with databases, SQL, and data-driven backend solutionsCollaborate with architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsContribute to technical design, code reviews, best practices, and long-term maintainabilitySupport deployment, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD ways of workingEnsure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer requirementsParticipate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the team Requirements At least 4 years of experience with Java and Spring BootExperience working with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databasesGood understanding of software architecture, clean code, and modern development practicesExperience with Git and working in agile development teamsAbility to communicate technical solutions clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStructured, proactive way of working with strong ownership and delivery focusFluent Swedish and English Nice to have Background in the finance industry, banking, insurance, or another regulated environment is highly valuedPrevious work with cloud platforms such as AWS or AzurePrior consulting work Job no.
