Job Description: Staff Software Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer with an exceptional command of backend tech to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineersMentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learningOwn up the design and architecture of complex software solutionsTake ownership of several software components, ensuring their robustness, availability, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall system architecturePlan and execute projects, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of software productsWrite high-quality, scalable, and maintainable codeParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standardsCollaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsCreate and maintain technical documentation for code, design, and architectureWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operationsCollaborate with other software engineers to promote best practices and knowledge sharing Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field7+ years of experience in software development, with substantial experience in backend and cloud infrastructureExpert-level proficiency in designing and developing high-performance, concurrent applications with Golang (Go). Knowledge on other languages like Java, Python, or Ruby will be an added advantageStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesExperience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud native computingSolid knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing and integration testing for backend applicationsDemonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate effectively with teams, and mentor junior engineersExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challengesPassionate about software development and eager to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Software Development
