Backed by significant funding, the company offers engineers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure, large-scale distributed systems, and products that drive digital transformation for major enterprises. ▶︎ Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer (Data Platform) to design, build, and operate the large-scale data platform powering enterprise AI products. You'll develop distributed data pipelines and web crawlers that collect and process billions of documents—including news, patents, research papers, and web content—to support next-generation AI applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems, serverless architecture, and modern AI infrastructure. ▶︎ Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and operate large-scale data pipelines using Python and TypeScript Build and maintain web crawlers for public web content Improve the scalability and reliability of AWS serverless infrastructure Design monitoring and operational systems for distributed processing Collaborate with Product Managers, AI Engineers, and Data Engineers Improve the shared data platform supporting multiple AI products ▶︎ Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong application development experience with Python Experience delivering software from requirements definition through implementation and operation Experience in at least one of the following: AWS Serverless (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, Step Functions) Data Pipelines / ETL Spark or distributed data processing Business-level Japanese Currently residing in Japan ▶︎ Preferred Skills Terraform Docker TypeScript / Node.js Experience leading engineering projects SaaS product development Experience with document search or recommendation systems Master's or PhD in Computer Science ▶︎ Tech Stack Python, TypeScript (Node.js), AWS, Docker, Terraform, PySpark, Puppeteer ▶︎ Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary: ¥8M– ¥11M Salary review twice a year Full remote work within Japan Flexible working hours (Core Time: 10:00–14:00) Annual learning budget Company pension Full social insurance ▶︎ Work Location Japan (Full Remote) Employees can work remotely anywhere within Japan. ▶︎ Holidays & Leave 123 annual holidays National holidays Paid leave New Year holidays
