As a Senior DevOps Engineer you develop reusable DevOps solutions and integrations to support several projects In this role, you support our customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-efficient application software. In the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management and providing insight into large data sets. From our office in Eindhoven and sometimes at our clients' premises you like to keep yourself busy with: Connecting Sioux Projects and Sioux IT by streamlining collaboration, ensuring clear communication, and proactively identifying needs and improvement opportunitiesGuiding teams in adopting and applying DevOps best practices and encourages continuous improvementManaging and optimizing DevOps services running in Docker containers on Fedora CoreOS, focusing on stability, security, and performanceDeveloping and improving documentation and standards for usage and integration within projectsContributing to the Internal Developer Platform with tools such as Backstage, Crossplane, and ArgoCDDesigning and implementing standardized workflows and self-service solutions for developersCoaching more junior colleagues Sounds good so far? We'd love to tell you more… Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer scienceYou have gained 5 – 10 years of experience in DevOpsYou have strong experience with Linux-based platforms (preferably FCOS or container-optimized operating systems)You have experience with Docker and Shell scripting and tools such as Backstage, ArgoCD, and CrossplaneYou have experience with CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and KubernetesYou are able to translate technical concepts into understandable guidelines for the teamsYou have knowledge of or experience with various development methods and techniques such as Design Patterns, UML, Agile, and keep your professional knowledge up-to-date.
