Description

We are building a novel, high-speed space transportation and network infrastructure. To achieve that, we need a Systems Engineer who can own the complete communications chain from end to end. In this role, you will bridge the gap between spacecraft hardware, ground infrastructure, software systems, and operational tooling. You’ll thrive if you love taking full ownership in an agile, R&D environment where you solve problems for the first time, test real hardware, and drive mission readiness. What You’ll Do End-to-End Ownership: Lead the integration, verification, and validation of the entire communications architecture, from operator interfaces and ground infrastructure down to the spacecraft.Systems & Ground Integration: Direct ground segment integration activities and unify spacecraft hardware, operational tooling, and software systems into a seamless mission capability.Practical RF & Troubleshooting: Hands-on testing, planning, and root-cause troubleshooting across hardware, software, and RF/operational interfaces.Mission Readiness: Hold overall accountability for communications architecture readiness, system-level V&V, and mission execution.Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with software, flight dynamics, and hardware teams in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environment. What We’re Looking For Proven Track Record: Practical experience building, integrating, and operating communications systems in real-world or mission-critical environments (e.g., SatCom, spacecraft ops, defence comms, ground systems, telecommunications infrastructure).Systems Engineering Mindset: Experience looking at the whole picture—not just isolated RF component design or routine ops monitoring.Hands-on & Adaptable: Thrives in an evolving R&D environment where priorities shift and creative, first-principles problem-solving is required.Education vs. Experience: While an engineering degree is great, we value real-world execution, troubleshooting ability, and system ownership above academic credentials. Why Join Us? High Ownership & Impact: You will own the entire communications architecture.Salary: up to €90,000 + Equity/Benefits (Depending on experience)We fully support non-EU applicants with visa sponsorship and complete relocation assistance.Growth: Opportunity to scale with a high-performing team building cutting-edge aerospace systems.
