[What you will be working on] We are looking for a hands-on Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate modern infrastructure platforms across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on improving reliability, observability, automation, security posture, and operational resilience for critical systems supporting healthcare and government digital services. The engineer will work closely with application, security, cloud, and operations teams to enable scalable and resilient platform capabilities while reducing operational toil and technical debt. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure platforms across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and hybrid environmentsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelinesSupport platform observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboardsImprove infrastructure reliability, resiliency, failover readiness, and operational standardsSupport container platforms including Kubernetes and related ecosystem toolingAutomate operational processes, patching, provisioning, compliance checks, and reportingSupport vulnerability remediation and infrastructure security hardening activitiesTroubleshoot infrastructure and platform incidents across compute, network, storage, and cloud servicesPartner with application teams to improve cloud-native adoption and operational readinessContribute to platform engineering standards, reusable modules, and engineering best practicesSupport migration and modernisation initiatives from legacy infrastructure to cloud platforms [What we are looking for] Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience in cloud infrastructure engineering and operationsStrong hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or similar automation toolingExperience operating Kubernetes or container platformsFamiliarity with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatchGood understanding of infrastructure security, IAM, networking, and resiliency conceptsExperience supporting production environments and operational incident responseScripting or programming knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar languagesStrong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skillsExperience leveraging AI/ML driven tools for operational insights, automation, observability or infrastructure optimisation Preferred Skills Experience supporting regulated or large-scale enterprise environmentsExposure to SRE, platform engineering, or DevSecOps practicesCloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with hybrid cloud or datacenter environments What we offer you: GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe that diversity is the foundation to innovation.    Our employee benefits are based on a total rewards approach, offering a holistic and market-competitive suite of perks.
