Your mission:
Lead a cross functional team of Soil Scientists and Software Engineers to develop and implement SOC models as the foundation of Klim’s platformOwn and drive the product roadmap for carbon, biodiversity, and broader soil science and agronomic modelsExpand Klim’s modelling capabilities beyond carbon into crop and agronomic insights, and over time into economic models such as farm level P&LContribute to the commercial scalability of Klim’s solutions and support large scale decarbonisation of agricultural supply chains
Your responsibilities:
Product Definition and DeliveryTranslate scientific models into clear product requirements and featuresAlign modelling work with product and company goalsDrive execution from concept to productionDevelop a strong understanding of underlying models to effectively guide product decisions and challenge assumptions Model Development, Carbon and BeyondImprove accuracy and scalability of carbon models as the core systemExpand models to include agronomic metrics, new practices, and new geographiesIdentify and prioritise additional soil science or environmental metrics Compliance and Scientific IntegrityEnsure alignment with key standards such as VERRA VM0042, GHG Protocol, SustainCERT, SAI RTF and ISOMETRICWork with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and scientific credibility Team Leadership and ExecutionLead and prioritise the work of a cross functional team of scientists and engineersEnsure effective collaboration between scientific development and product implementationCreate clarity on priorities and trade offs Cross Functional AlignmentPartner with MRV to ensure models meet regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Farmer Sales to ensure consistency with field dataAlign with other product teams to integrate models into the platformIncorporate client and market insights into product decisions to maximise commercial impact
Your profile:
Product and Execution Skills
3 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in data/scientific heavy or technical productsProven track record of shipping products end to endExperience running development cycles and sprintsStrong prioritization and problem solvingAbility to operate effectively in a fast changing environment with evolving requirements and constraints
Strategic and Commercial Thinking
Ability to shape short to long term product strategyPrioritise features based on impact, feasibility, and regulatory constraintsAdapt to evolving regulations and markets
Stakeholder Management
Translate complex technical topics for non technical audiencesAlign multiple stakeholders across functionsStrong communication skills
Technical Understanding
Strong ability to understand complex models at a high level, including their assumptions, limitations, and implications for product decisionsDegree in a quantitative or analytical field such as physics, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or similar is a strong plusHigh attention to detail and rigor when working with data, models, and assumptionsAble to quickly learn and reason about new technical domains

English requiredGerman is a plus but not a requirement
