Senior Java Software Engineer | Relocate to UAE🇦🇪 Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (relocation package available) Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 AED per month tax-free Join a high-growth cybersecurity scale-up in Abu Dhabi as a Senior Java Engineer and play a critical role in shaping the engineering platform that underpins mission-critical security products. You'll build and evolve the frameworks, libraries, and developer tooling that enable teams to ship faster, more reliably, and at massive scale. Your work will enable true cloud-agnostic delivery across AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and bare-metal environments, while raising the bar for reliability, observability, and production readiness across the organisation. This is a hands-on, deeply technical role for engineers who enjoy JVM internals, distributed systems, and building high-leverage platform tooling that improves how entire engineering teams work. Required Experience: 8+ years of production Java experience (Java 17/21 preferred)Deep JVM expertise (concurrency, GC tuning, profiling, performance optimisation)Strong experience with Spring Boot and reactive systems (Project Reactor / WebFlux)Proven experience building internal platforms, frameworks, SDKs, or shared libraries at scaleStrong distributed systems fundamentals (consistency, retries, idempotency, failure modes, backpressure)Experience with Kubernetes-native and cloud-agnostic architectures (multi-cloud or hybrid)Strong observability mindset (SLIs, SLOs, alerting, error budgets)Experience owning production systems end-to-end in high-availability environments What’s in it for you?
