Frontend Developer

Senior Frontend Engineer | Angular Arnhem | €80–85k | I'm looking for a Frontend engineer working to work at the intersection of mobility, energy and software. It's a really interesting frontend environment because what's happening behind the UI is complicated. There's live data coming from physical infrastructure, transactions, pricing, energy, third-party integrations and a lot of different systems that ultimately need to make sense to the person using the product. Strong Angular experience is important, but I'm not particularly interested in finding someone who's simply spent the longest using it. I want to know what you've actually done with it. Have you led a migration, changed an architecture, introduced better testing or tooling, or improved something that wasn't working? Could you pick up an unfamiliar Angular codebase, understand the state and data flow, and confidently explain what's happening? That's much closer to the level they're looking for. You'll be working with modern Angular, TypeScript and RxJS, with things like Signals, Nx, Vitest/Jest and Playwright/Cypress around the frontend environment. You don't need to have used every one of those tools. They're also embracing AI within engineering, so there's plenty of interest in how that changes the way good software gets built. The fundamentals still matter though; probably more than ever. The role pays €80–85k + sec's and 1 day a week from Arnhem. You don't need mobility or energy experience. You do need to be a very good frontend engineer though, who knows Angular properly, enjoys solving complicated problems and doesn't need much hand-holding. If that's you, give me a shout.
