Hi Professionals, Greetings from VegaIntellisoft Role : Java Developer Location : Mississauga, ON, Canada (Onsite) Duration : Full time Experience : 6 – 9 Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performing, scalable, and secure enterprise applications. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, system architects, and DevOps teams to deliver robust backend solutions using modern Java technologies and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code using core Java and Spring ecosystem frameworks.Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices-based architectures.API Development: Build and consume RESTful APIs and secure web services for seamless frontend-backend integration.Database Management: Design complex database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Code Quality & Testing: Implement rigorous automated unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and TDD (Test-Driven Development) practices.Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional technical discussions. Required Technical Skills & Qualifications Core Experience: 6+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Java (Java 11 / 17 / 21).Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.Architecture & Messaging: Strong understanding of Microservices patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.Database: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and ORM mapping.Tools & CI/CD: Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.Cloud Platforms: Hands-on deployment experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS) or Azure.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
