Sr Systems Developer (DevOps Engineer)

In this role, you will contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support of moderately complex technical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and evolve DevOps practices, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure and delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub ActionsLead containerization initiatives using Docker and PodmanPerform Red Hat Linux server maintenance, upgrades, and migrationsSet up, maintain, and optimize Redis serversInstall, configure, and maintain Jenkins environmentsManage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure secure communication standardsMaintain and migrate virtual machine environmentsAutomate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Bash, and PowerShellCollaborate with development and operations teams to embed DevOps best practicesSupport incident response, root cause analysis, and release management activities Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience with relevant formal academic or vocational qualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in systems development, DevOps, or a related role Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash)Solid experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability tools and strategiesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies, Git workflows, and enterprise compliance standardsExperience integrating vulnerability scanning and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAAWorking knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platformsStrong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security best practicesAbility to design proactive alerting and observability solutionsProven ability to mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practicesExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholdersAnalytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving mindset Must-Have Skills CI/CD pipeline development using JenkinsScripting and automation using Python and BashContainerization with Docker and PodmanExperience with monitoring and alerting systems
