Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About The Role In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while driving automation, operational excellence, and the adoption of modern DevOps and cloud engineering practices. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and services across multiple environments.Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to enable reliable, repeatable, and efficient software delivery while reducing manual effort.Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools to standardize provisioning, ensure consistency, and simplify infrastructure lifecycle management.Design, deploy, and operate containerized platforms using Kubernetes (AKS), improving scalability, availability, and application performance.Enhance platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence by implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and proactive performance optimization practices.Support incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement to minimize downtime and prevent recurring issues.Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, security specialists, and product teams to design cloud-native solutions, contribute to technical architecture discussions, optimize cloud costs, establish governance standards, and promote DevOps and operational best practices across the organization. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft AzureStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similarExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalentHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native architecturesStrong understanding of Azure networking, identity and access management, cloud security principles, governance practices, secrets management, and secure software delivery.Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and reliability issues across distributed systems.Experience automating operational tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or PythonExperience collaborating with software engineers, architects, security teams, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable platform solutions SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
