Senior Angular Developer

Work model: Hybrid Work location: Sofia, Bulgaria Duties And Accountabilities The Senior Angular Developer will: Work independently on the design and implementation of complex features in Angular-based applications.Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.Own end-to-end delivery of features, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, and production support.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering engineering best practices and continuous improvement.Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and security requirements.Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated solutions.Drive adoption of modern frontend development practices, including component-based architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.Identify and resolve complex performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability challenges.Contribute to technical roadmaps, architectural decisions, and technology evaluations.Support production environments and participate in root cause analysis for critical incidents. Selection Criteria Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Significant professional software development experienceDemonstrated experience leading development teams and technical initiatives. Technical Competencies Expert knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture patterns.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.Experience implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces.Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanism Non-Functional Expertise Deep understanding of application performance optimization and frontend scalability.Experience implementing secure-by-design solutions and application security best practices.Strong knowledge of maintainability, observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting approaches.Understanding of cloud-native application principles and distributed systems.Experience designing solutions that meet availability, reliability, and operational support requirements. Leadership Competencies Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience driving engineering quality through code reviews and development standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering solutions in large international organizations.Experience working within SAFe teams.Microsoft Azure certifications.Experience with enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and cloud-based architecture.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience supporting mission-critical production systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
