About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, cloud security, monitoring, and deployment automation. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve application delivery, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities Design, manage, and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environmentsBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationAutomate application build, deployment, configuration, and release processesDesign and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and associated servicesImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practicesImplement comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational processesSupport application availability, scalability, reliability, and performanceImplement cloud security, access control, networking, and environment management best practicesEstablish and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processesSupport application releases and production deploymentsTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and environment-related issuesIdentify and implement opportunities for infrastructure optimization, automation, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with development and engineering teams to establish and improve DevOps practices and standardsContribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure, deployment, security, and operational processes Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related fieldStrong hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platformStrong experience in CI/CD and deployment automationPractical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Experience with containerization technologiesStrong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and loggingExperience supporting enterprise web applications in development and production environmentsStrong understanding of Git-based development, branching, and release processesGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with development, QA, security, and operations teams Desirable Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code toolsStrong knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, and monitoringExperience implementing automated security and vulnerability scanning within CI/CD pipelinesExperience with cloud cost optimization and resource managementExperience establishing and implementing DevOps practices for new applicationExperience with automation and scripting using technologies such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellFamiliarity with modern observability and centralized logging solution Equal Opportunity State Surge Technology Solutions Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
