Backend Engineer - Revenue Engineering

The Role We're looking for a Backend Engineer (Go) to join the Revenue Engineering team at Soundtrack. Revenue Engineering is responsible for the systems that power subscriptions, billing, pricing, product packaging and other core business functions. The team owns business-critical backend services and APIs that are relied upon by Product, Finance, Analytics and other parts of the organization. The team is also responsible for our back-office system and other internal tooling, where customer-facing teams manage accounts, subscriptions and more. As a Backend Engineer, you'll work on a wide range of initiatives, from evolving our core platform and APIs to supporting new product capabilities and improving system reliability. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, frontend developers and product stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions that support Soundtrack's continued growth. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain backend services using GoDevelop and evolve APIs that power core product and business functionalityBuild solutions related to subscriptions, billing, pricing, products and add-onsImprove, evolve and replace existing services and systems when neededEnsure our systems remain reliable, scalable, testable and cost-efficientParticipate in architectural discussions and technical design decisionsWork on data migrations and changes to business-critical systemsCollaborate closely with frontend engineers and other stakeholders across the businessContribute to code reviews, testing practices and engineering best practicesShare knowledge and help strengthen the team as a whole About You Just like us, you love music.
