They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting critical IT infrastructure across a multi-site European environment, ensuring the availability and performance of services across data centres and office locations. Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer Collaborate with technical teams to deploy, support and enhance core infrastructure platforms.Produce, maintain and update technical documentation to ensure systems are well documented and compliant.Oversee the day-to-day operation of infrastructure across multiple office and data centre locations.Manage backup processes, validate recovery procedures and contribute to business continuity planning.Take ownership of designated infrastructure services, ensuring they remain secure, resilient and available.Provide technical input and support for infrastructure-related projects and system upgrades.Monitor system performance, respond to alerts and investigate incidents to minimise service disruption.Participate in planned maintenance activities, including occasional out-of-hours work where required.Join a rotating on-call schedule to provide support for critical infrastructure outside standard working hours. The ideal Infrastructure Engineer will have: 2+ years' experience in an IT infrastructure or systems administration role.Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.Strong knowledge of server, virtualisation and networking technologies.Able to work independently and take ownership of technical services. Technical Skills of the Infrastructure Engineer VMware, Proxmox or similar virtualisation platforms.Microsoft Windows Server administration.Networking knowledge (VPNs, NAT, ACLs, firewalls).Backup solutions such as Veeam.Enterprise storage and server hardware.Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
