Job Description The Quant Developer will play a crucial role in our globally distributed team, working closely with broking desks to develop and maintain pricing models. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative pricing and analytics applications, with a focus on migrating Excel models to in-house technologies. Responsibilities Develop new pricing models and maintain existing models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with broking desks to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Work with C++ (Quant Library) and/or Python/Java for micro-service development, leveraging best practices. Ensure real-time, event-driven environments are optimized for pricing analytics. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in pricing and analytics. Document and communicate pricing model changes and improvements. Collaborate with a global team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members. Ensure high-quality code and documentation standards are maintained. Qualifications Significant experience developing pricing models in Excel, with a strong background in pricing analytics. Experience in real-time, event-driven environments is essential. Proficiency in C++ is desirable, along with Python or Java skills for micro-service development. Knowledge of multiple asset classes, especially Interest Rate Derivatives and Forward Foreign Exchange, is an advantage. Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering commercially smart solutions. Experience with financial services or trading environments is preferred. A degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance, is beneficial.
