The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, building and delivering production-grade software within a modern engineering environment. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you’ll build scalable backend services while contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with distributed systems, and helping shape engineering best practices. What You’ll Be Doing Designing, developing and delivering scalable backend services using Java and KotlinOwning features from technical design through to production deploymentBuilding and maintaining event-driven microservicesWorking with Kafka and distributed systems architectureCollaborating with product, engineering and architecture teams during solution designWriting clean, well-tested, production-ready codeParticipating in code reviews and mentoring other engineersUsing AI development tools to improve engineering productivitySupporting production systems and continuously improving platform reliability What They’re Looking For 5+ years of commercial software engineering experienceStrong Java and Kotlin development experienceExperience building scalable backend or distributed systemsKnowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging technologies (Kafka desirable)Experience with PostgreSQL or other database technologiesUnderstanding of microservices, APIs and cloud-native developmentExperience with Docker and KubernetesExposure to Azure or another major cloud platformComfortable working in Agile engineering teamsFrontend experience with React, TypeScript or Node.js would be beneficial but isn’t essential Why Join?
