Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our Manchester Depot. As part of our Vehicle Hire Division, you’ll be contributing to a rapidly growing operation that provides a wide range of light commercial vehicles to an impressive portfolio of clients. Our customer base spans blue-chip corporations, public sector organisations, and medium-sized enterprises, all of whom rely on us for a dependable, flexible, and high-quality hire service. You as a Rental Agent will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot. In this customer-focused role, you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers, assist with queries, offer advice, support and information, and recommend relevant company products. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT You ensure bookings are placed on appropriate systems accurately and send out and retrieve paperwork where necessaryYou establish new and develop existing business through relationships with customers via professional email and telephone correspondenceYou answer calls from customers to assist with queries, offering advice, support, and information, and recommending company productsYou complete all associated paperwork relating to vehicle transfers and yard checksYou maintain appropriate face-to-face interaction, hospitality, and professionalism towards clients on siteYou accurately calculate rental estimates, chase quotes, and follow upYOUR SKILLS MATTER Experience You bring significant experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced Agent role, preferably within the Hire industryAdaptability You excel in a dynamic environment and can work under pressure, both independently and as part of a teamAttention to Detail You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate completion of all handover paperwork and vehicle inspectionsCommunication You have strong communication skills, enabling clear and friendly interactions with customers, even in busy settingsFlexibility You are open to work on a shift rotation to cover branch operating hours, ensuring continuous serviceDriving License You hold a valid driving license and bring a minimum of 12 months driving experienceWHAT WE OFFER Competitive Compensation & Financial Security Receive an attractive annual salary and a performance-based bonus.
