They're looking for a Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join their Digital Engineering & Interoperability team and help build the next generation of those systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work across the stack — building modern user interfaces, backend services, APIs and integrations that need to be secure, reliable and genuinely useful. You'll be working on technology in an environment where software quality really matters. The applications you build and support will sit across clinical and patient-facing healthcare systems, so there's a strong emphasis on clean engineering, security, data protection and creating good experiences for the people using them. What They Need Help With You'll contribute to the design, development, testing and ongoing support of production applications across the organisation. That means getting involved across both frontend and backend development rather than being restricted to one small part of the stack. You'll be: Building and maintaining full stack web applicationsDeveloping modern frontend applications using React, Angular or VueBuilding backend services using technologies such as Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET or PythonDesigning and developing RESTful APIsWorking with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or MongoDBBuilding responsive, accessible and performant user interfacesContributing to integrations and event-based messagingWriting clean, maintainable and well-tested codeContributing to CI/CD and automated testingSupporting production systems through monitoring, bug fixing and incident resolutionWorking closely with engineers, product teams and UX designersThis is a good opportunity for someone who wants broad engineering exposure and enjoys seeing the applications they build being used in a real-world environment. What They're Looking For 2–4 years of professional software development experienceExperience building production-grade applications as part of an engineering teamStrong JavaScript/TypeScript foundationsExperience with at least one modern frontend framework — React, Angular or VueBackend development experience with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET or PythonExperience building and consuming REST APIsGood database and SQL fundamentalsComfortable using Git and modern software engineering practicesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to qualitySomeone who communicates well and enjoys working collaborativelyExperience with Azure, AWS or GCP, Docker, enterprise or regulated environments would be a bonus. Healthcare experience isn't essential, but exposure to healthcare systems, interoperability or clinical workflows would also be useful.
