Introduction Would you like to use your experience in technical software development to work on complex high-tech products and machines? For a leading high-tech technology company, we are looking for experienced Software Engineers who want to play an important role in challenging projects within the semiconductor, medical and analytical industries. You will develop software that connects machines, hardware, electronics and systems, ensuring that complex high-tech solutions operate seamlessly as one integrated system. Depending on your expertise, your technical focus may include C#, C++, Java, C, Rust and/or embedded software. You will work from Apeldoorn as well as at customer locations throughout the Zwolle, Enschede, Arnhem and Nijmegen region. Your responsibilities Developing and testing technical software for complex high-tech products, machines and systems.Developing software in C#, C++, Java, C and/or Rust, depending on your technical background and the project.Designing and developing embedded software and applications for real-time and Linux-based environments.Integrating hardware, electronics, controllers and machines into larger software and system architectures.Translating technical requirements into clear, scalable and maintainable software solutions.Contributing to software architecture, design patterns, technical concepts and engineering decisions within multidisciplinary projects.Ensuring software quality through code reviews, testing, debugging and analysis of complex systems.Collaborating with software, electronics, mechatronics and system engineers within Agile development teams.Depending on your seniority, providing technical guidance and coaching to engineers and taking responsibility for complete modules or subsystems. The organisation combines expertise in software, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics and mathematics to develop complete technological solutions. You will work from Apeldoorn and at various high-tech customers throughout the Zwolle, Enschede, Arnhem and Nijmegen region, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with plenty of room for technical development and personal responsibility. Your profile A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.At least 2โ€“3 years of relevant experience in technical software development or embedded software engineering.Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, C and/or Rust.Experience developing technical software for machines, equipment, embedded systems or industrial applications.Knowledge of software architecture, Design Patterns, UML and/or Agile development methodologies.Experience with Linux, real-time systems, hardware integration or electronics is considered an advantage.For senior or software design positions, you preferably have 7+ years of experience and are capable of technically guiding and coaching other engineers.Good command of both Dutch and English.A valid European driving licence and willingness to work at customer locations throughout the region.Experience within semiconductor, medical, analytical instrumentation, industrial automation or a comparable high-tech environment is considered an advantage.
