Senior Cloud Network and Security Engineer A leading German engineering and IT services provider known for its commitment to professional growth and long-term partnerships is looking for an experienced technical specialist to join their infrastructure team. The successful candidate will focus on the technical management and evolution of network and firewall environments across multiple locations while driving modernization through automation and cloud integration. What you'll be doing • Managing and developing network and firewall infrastructure for multiple corporate sites • Designing and implementing secure network architectures in both on-premises and cloud environments • Standardizing and automating the deployment of network resources using modern tools • Analyzing existing structures for performance, security, availability, and cost-effectiveness • Providing technical consulting for internal departments and managing external service providers What we're looking for • Extensive professional experience in network engineering or network security • Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet • Practical experience with public cloud network architectures, specifically AWS • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication skills in both German and English with a solution-oriented approach What's on offer • Salary: 75.000 bis 90.000 € brutto jährlich • Permanent employment contract with a well-established international organization • Hybrid working model with regular home office options • Individual professional development and certification opportunities • High degree of technical creative freedom in a responsible expert position Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
