What you will be doing: Perform functional, regression, E2E, smoke, exploratory and black-box testing of web applications.Test REST APIs via Postman: authorization, negative, boundary and integration scenarios.Validate interfaces, user flows and business logic using DevTools.Conduct cross-browser, responsive and basic security testing.Work with SQL and logs to verify data and localize defects.Verify integrations between frontend and backend.Develop and maintain test cases, checklists, regression suites and test documentation.Prepare regular reports on quality status, defects and testing progress.Participate in release testing and assess the impact of changes on the product.Collaborate with the development team and adopt new QA tools and processes. Who we are looking for: A self-driven Middle Manual QA Engineer with 2+ years of commercial manual testing experience of complex web applications.Deep understanding of client-server architecture, request lifecycle and interaction between frontend, backend, databases and external services.Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and DOM to analyze interface implementation and localize frontend issues.Advanced proficiency with browser DevTools: independently investigating network requests, application state, errors and performance issues.Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and REST API, hands-on experience testing APIs via Postman including authorization, negative, boundary and integration scenarios.Hands-on experience with SQL and log analysis to verify data, identify root causes and pinpoint the problematic system component.Confident use of test design techniques with the ability to build sufficient coverage independently, without ready-made checklists or detailed instructions.Experience with end-to-end feature testing: from requirements analysis to regression, integration checks and impact assessment.Ability to find not only obvious bugs but also issues in edge cases, exception handling, concurrent requests and non-standard user scenarios.Ability to independently define test scope, prioritize based on risk and make a well-reasoned release readiness assessment.Understanding of Git, CI/CD, environments and the full task lifecycle from development to production.Ability to write technically detailed bug reports and test documentation sufficient for reproduction and investigation without additional clarification.Experience with Asana, Jira or similar task-tracking systems.Strong ownership: ability to drive a task from requirements to release and proactively identify blockers.Strong communication skills: ability to ask precise technical questions, advocate for quality and collaborate effectively with developers and managers. Nice to have: Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python.Experience with logging and monitoring systems.Understanding of test automation fundamentals.Experience testing complex integrations, payment systems or AI products.
