Are you passionate about bringing your talent into play in one of BEC's most important strategic tech initiatives? If so, you should use your experience in a well-established full-service IT house and be part of one of the most exciting development trips within Platforms & Architecture for the Danish financial sector. In collaboration with several customers, BEC is upgrading and developing our Open Shift platform, which will support the specific business needs of each bank. For BEC Warsaw, we are looking for an experienced and innovative Open Shift Engineer to contribute to the development and integration tasks on the Open Shift platform. You will be part of an agile DevOps team responsible for maintaining an Open Shift Platform and ensuring that the platform is continuously being expanded with new capabilities to support business needs. As a Platform Engineer you will challenge and be challenged by your colleagues in creating and maintaining the Open Shift infrastructure to ensure the future success of BEC’s customers. We expect you to have a solid toolbox with some good results with Open Shift Platform Engineering. Primary task and responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining containerized applications Developing new features & correcting errors Monitoring and actively reacting to alerts and warnings in relation to Open Shift Participate in the design, coding, testing and documentation Maintaining and improving existing solutions Comply to regulation and standards Collaborate with IT and business specialists to rapidly develop and deliver solutions that meet changing business needs Together with the team working on achieving the team goals To succeed you will have: Strong experience in running and maintaining a Multi Cluster Open Shift Platform and knowledge with ACM and ACS is a plus. Ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders outside the team to develop the best solutions To be self-driven, proactive and don’t be shy to express your opinion To be adaptive towards change, curious to learn and understand the business objectives To be a team player with focus on working together as a team Analytical skills and ability to develop innovative solutions To master English at a high level both in writing and orally working in teams in Denmark and Poland It’s nice to have: Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and a demonstrated ability to contribute to an agile development environment Experience with K8s/OpenShift, Java, Jenkins and Argo CD Experience from the financial sector, telecom, pharma, or from a significant consultancy; is a plus BE YOUR BEST SELF WITH BEC’S BENEFITS!
