AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Summary The AWS DevOps Engineer will build and manage the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, automation, monitoring, and operational processes required to support the Client's modernized applications. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Develop automated CI/CD pipelines for .NET Core applications and microservices. Support container deployment and orchestration through Amazon ECS. Automate infrastructure provisioning, testing, deployment, and rollback procedures. Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards. Manage secrets, access controls, environment configurations, and security policies. Support hybrid integration between AWS and the current colocation/VMware environment. Assist with the transition from Octopus Deploy to modern AWS deployment practices. Implement backup, recovery, resiliency, and disaster-recovery procedures. Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, and cost. Troubleshoot deployment and production-environment issues. Document operational procedures and support production-readiness reviews.
