Site Reliability Engineer Generalist – Quant Trading

We’re partnered with a leading global quantitative trading firm where technology is at the heart of the business. Their engineers build and operate highly sophisticated, low-latency infrastructure supporting trading and research at global scale. As an SRE Generalist, you’ll: Own critical infrastructure that keeps trading systems fast, reliable and available.Work across Linux, networking, Kubernetes and distributed systems in a demanding production environment.Build automation and production tooling in Python and/or Go.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues, driving problems through to resolution.Work closely with traders, researchers and software engineers, translating technical challenges into robust solutions.Continuously improve reliability, performance and operational efficiency across the trading environment. Qualifications: Strong ability to write production-ready Python and/or Go.Hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-premises.Excellent Linux and systems fundamentals.Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with trading and research teams.A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex technical problems.
