Role Description The Software Engineer role at ZyncCoin is a full-time, on-site position based in Mito. In this role, the engineer designs, develops, and maintains back-end services and core application logic that power ZyncCoin’s platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, reviewing peer code for quality and security, and troubleshooting production issues. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to refine technical requirements, write clean and testable code, and ensure systems are well-documented and scalable. The position also involves participating in architecture discussions, contributing to continuous improvement of development practices, and staying current with relevant technologies. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-quality applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in maintainable code design.Ability to write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code; familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and basic knowledge of application security best practices.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site in Mito.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems is a plus, along with an interest in digital assets and emerging technologies.
