About The Role
We are looking for a coder to work on the front and back end of the Yodeck's App, a single-page web UI connected through REST API with our Backend.
Built on Django and Celery, Yodeck's backend is fully integrated with a wide collection of third-party cloud services.
Responsibilities
Write, test, document and maintain code for existing and new functionality in our Django AppEvolving Yodeck's web UI, writing JS code and using frameworks like React, BackboneJS, RequireJS, and BootstrapAdding features to our componentized UI, using REST APIsIntegrate with external servicesInvestigate new technologiesCollaborate and organize with the team under the Scrum framework, converting user requirements into engineering tasksCollaborate with other departments such as Support, other engineering teams, Devops team
Requirements
Work experience as a Python DeveloperWork experience as a Javascript DeveloperExperience with at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript FrameworksKnowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)Knowledge of client-side single-page applications using modern frameworks like ReactDebugging and optimization skillsUnit/integration testing experience to be considered as a plusTeam spiritGood problem-solving skillsBSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field or relevant experience of at least 3 yearsExcellent command of English languageExperience working in a lean/agile development environment
