Think, try, and thrive with us in collaborative work environments that spark game-changing concepts.Job Overview:Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Strategic Projects Intern provides the best possible support by assisting with all aspects of factory planning and engineering and helps to ensure that ongoing projects run smoothly.Responsibilities:The planning intern provides support to the planning team by assisting with all aspects of production planning, engineering and helps to ensure that the ongoing plant expansion project runs smoothly. Other daily tasks include:Support planning, scheduling, and execution of brownfield construction and engineering project initiatives associated with plant transformation and new project introduction Track project milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure accurate project controls and reporting Collaborate with Engineering, Plant Planning, Production, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical information into actionable project plansDevelop and maintain project schedules, dependency maps, critical-path analyses, and executive status reportsCreate and maintain advanced Excel models, Power BI dashboards, and automated reporting toolsAnalyze project, construction, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gapsCreate automated reporting workflows and leverage AI tools and data solutions to reduce manual effort and improve team efficiencySupport cost tracking, forecasting, and resource planning activities for construction and engineering projectsDocument project requirements, meeting outcomes, action items, and lessons learned to improve project governance and knowledge managementAssist with coordination and readiness activities for new project introduction (NPI) within an existing manufacturing environmentPresent project updates, dashboard insights, and recommendations to project teams and leadershipWork effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and project requirements evolve rapidly Preferred Skills:Project KPI Tracking - Timeline, Funding, & ProcessesAdvanced Excel fundamentalsPower BIKnowledge of risk management and critical path schedulingAI Workflow creations - Microsoft Co-PilotQualifikationenPreferred Qualifications:Having graduated within the past 12 months or working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
