This is an Expression of Interest for engineers interested in working on modern automation platforms, integrations, and AI-enabled systems.
We have multiple software engineering roles available, and new opportunities will continue to emerge as our engineering team expands.
The Role
You’ll help build automation, integrations, and data workflows across our platform, PWHUB(PictureWealth Platform Integration Hub).
This includes working with financial data providers, processing documents, and building event-driven systems that keep data flowing reliably across our services.
While many of these roles focus on backend and integration, we welcome engineers from backend, full-stack, automation, platform, or data backgrounds
What You’ll Work On
Building integrations with financial data providers, super funds, and external platformsDesigning pipelines to ingest and validate financial dataCreating event-driven workflows and system automationsImplementing document-processing pipelines (PDFs, statements, compliance documents)Improving reliability and resilience of third-party integrations
Skills & Experience
We’re interested in engineers with experience in areas such as:
Backend Engineering
Node.js / TypeScriptBuilding scalable APIs and backend servicesDesigning event-driven or microservice architectures
Frontend Development
React / TypeScriptBuilding internal tools or workflow interfaces
System Integrations
Designing and implementing APIs and third-party integrationsWorking with external platforms, authentication flows, and data synchronisationHandling unreliable or inconsistent external systems
Data Processing & Automation
Building data pipelines and workflow automationProcessing structured and unstructured data (PDFs, documents, APIs)Validation, reconciliation, and transformation of data
Cloud & Infrastructure
AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions or similar)Containerisation and deployment using DockerCI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Security & Compliance
Secure API designHandling sensitive or regulated dataSecrets management and secure system integration
AI-Assisted Engineering
Experience using AI tools in development workflows (e.g.
Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude)Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar is highly regarded
