DevOps Engineer

The Role We are seeking an experienced DevOps professional to support application teams in modernizing their deployment processes. The successful candidate will help migrate applications from Jenkins, RLM, and manual deployment methods to GitHub Actions while building, automating, and troubleshooting reliable CI/CD solutions. Key Responsibilities Support application teams in migrating from Jenkins, RLM, and manual deployments to GitHub Actions.Design, configure, execute, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflows and runners.Create, enhance, and debug CI/CD pipelines, stages, and workflows.Investigate and resolve DevOps, build, deployment, and configuration issues.Develop automation and configurations to enable successful system integrations.Create Maven POM and Settings files from scratch.Work effectively across various programming languages, build systems, and codebases.Troubleshoot Jenkins pipeline failures and configuration issues.Configure and support SonarQube, Artifactory, Terraform, UCD, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.Diagnose Kubernetes issues involving pods, logs, nodes, events, namespaces, storage, and deployments.Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an IT diploma with equivalent professional experience.Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.Strong experience creating and debugging pipeline stages.Proficiency with GitHub Actions, including workflows, execution, and runners.Strong understanding of build systems and project types, including Maven, NPM, PyPI, .NET, and MSBuild.Ability to create Maven POM and Settings files from scratch.Experience with Jenkins pipelines, including Declarative, Multibranch, and Maven pipelines.Experience troubleshooting Jenkins failures and configuration issues.Working knowledge of GitOps practices.Experience with tools such as Artifactory and SonarQube, including configuration and day-to-day usage.Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure tools such as Terraform and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).Experience using Ansible for configuration management and application deployment.Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization, including Dockerfiles and commonly used Docker commands.Practical Kubernetes experience, including clusters, namespaces, persistent volumes and claims, Helm charts, and deployments using kubectl.Ability to troubleshoot Kubernetes pods, logs, nodes, events, storage, and deployment issues.Preferred Qualifications CI/CD experience with NPM or NuGet-based projects.Experience developing Jenkins pipelines using Groovy.Scripting experience with Groovy, Shell, or Python.Familiarity with Agile delivery and service-management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
