Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite DevOps Engineer to join a government consulting firm based in Springfield, VA. The DevOps engineer will work on cutting-edge cloud platforms to support the intelligence community. Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer includes: Build, automate, and maintain secure AWS (C2S/GovCloud) cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelinesImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support scalable and repeatable environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems, applications, and network layersCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deploymentsMonitor system health and performance using tools such as CloudWatch and Kibana Qualifications of the DevOps Engineer includes: Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree plus 12 years of experience OR a minimum of 15 years of experienceStrong experience with AWS (C2S or GovCloud), CI/CD tools, and DevOps practicesProficiency in Linux systems, networking, and system administrationExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)Hands-on experience with OS installation, configuration, and performance tuningAbility to resolve complex system issues and communicate/escalate effectivelyMust hold an active US Government TS/SCI CI Poly clearance Compensation of the DevOps Engineer Includes: Salary Range: $190,000-210,000 (based on experience)Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as Required by Law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on August 3rd, 2026.
