Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About The Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, automating, and securing cloud infrastructure, working closely with solution architects and cross-functional teams to deliver a complex multi-region cloud transformation. You will join a distributed cloud engineering team driving the migration of a large-scale security analytics and observability platform from AWS to Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities Build, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including AKS, networking, storage, secrets management, and supporting services across multiple delivery milestonesMigrate and adapt AWS-based components to Azure-native solutions, including storage, file systems, networking, and data services while ensuring functional parity and scalabilityImplement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep to support consistent, repeatable, and automated deploymentsDesign, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable application delivery and infrastructure provisioningConfigure and support Kubernetes environments, containerized workloads, and cloud-native deployment patterns within AzureImplement security, identity, certificate, and secrets management solutions aligned with organizational standards and compliance requirementsCollaborate closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver cloud transformation objectivesContribute to Agile delivery processes, participate in planning and review ceremonies, and drive continuous improvements through automation and operational best practices Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), cloud networking, and Azure-native servicesStrong expertise in Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud infrastructure operationsExperience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, DynamoDB, EFS, and VPC networking, with the ability to map and migrate workloads to Azure equivalentsSolid background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code, and automation using Terraform, ARM, or BicepExperience with secrets, certificates, and identity management solutions, including HashiCorp Vault, DigiCert, PKCS7, and OktaProficiency in scripting and automation using Python and configuration management tools such as PuppetUnderstanding of security and compliance frameworks, including SOC and HIPAA requirements; experience with Splunk is a plusStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in distributed international teams and work effectively within Agile environments SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
