Following a recent reorganization within the IT engineering team, we are creating a new permanent position and looking for a pure developer. The mission We are looking for a Fullstack Developer with a "Backend-First" mindset to join our engineering team. You will be a key player in architecting and building modern web applications that power our most strategic Swiss initiatives. Your primary focus will be on Python, creating high-performance, reusable component libraries that will serve as the foundation for multiple platforms. Key projects you will tackle Rental solution: Scaling our brand-new platform to make sports equipment more accessible through the circular economy.B2B Platform: Developing professional interfaces for our corporate and club partners.Internal CMS & Tools: Building the "engine room" that empowers our internal teams to manage content and operations efficiently. What You Will Do Architect and Build: Design and implement robust backend architectures using FastAPI.Fullstack Delivery: Maintain and extend our backend services, primarily built as Cloud Functions (GCP) using FastAPI (and occasionally Flask for legacy services).Fullstack Excellence: Develop a library of high-reusable frontend components to ensure UI/UX consistency across all platforms.Collaborate: Work closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.Quality: Advocate for best practices in testing, documentation, and performance optimization. Who You Are Technical Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in modern web development.Backend specialist: Python framework (FastAPI / Flask).Cloud Native: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in particular with these components: Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, CloudSQL : PostgreSQL, Firestore, Bigquery, GCP Logs Explorer, Cloud Scheduler. Serverless architectures (Cloud Functions).Frontend: You are comfortable with Javascript, experience with Svelte(kit) or a similar javascript framework is a significant advantage.
