Position: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Onsite- Toronto, ON Job type: Full-Time/Permanent Hiring We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support highly available, secure, and resilient AWS environments. The role will focus on AWS networking, disaster recovery, security, Infrastructure as Code, automation, system administration, and cloud cost optimization. Key Responsibilities Design and support highly available and fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure.Configure advanced AWS networking including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, VPC Peering, Route Tables, NACLs, ALB/NLB, and subnetting/CIDR.Design and implement AWS Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions aligned with RTO/RPO requirements.Support AWS-native DR and replication using AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, AWS Backup, S3 Multi-Region, RDS/Redshift cross-region replication, and DR testing.Manage AWS IAM, Identity Center, Control Tower, Landing Zones, KMS, Security Hub, AWS Config, and cloud governance controls.Provision infrastructure using Terraform and/or CloudFormation and automate deployments using Ansible.Support GitLab/Git-based CI/CD, repositories, branching, permissions, and code promotion.Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments, including patching, vulnerability remediation, and resource provisioning.Support AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, SageMaker, and compute workloads.Build CloudWatch dashboards, monitor infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot operational issues.Analyze AWS usage and costs and identify cloud cost optimization opportunities.
